I am attempting to use the wireless terminal, but it always indicates it is out of. I found the antenna in the crafting options, but question is where to place the antenna to extend the range. Additionally, is it possible to use more than one antenna to further increase the range?

No, you cannot use multiple antennas.
The antenna is placed in a menu that is opened by shift right clicking the block

I made work with the polymer generated pack, but for the other players is show like that. it supposed to work without a custom texture?
